Senior Frontend Engineer

  • Set up the TypeScript monorepo with one Expo and React Native app for iOS, Android, and web, plus a Next.js admin, from the first commit.
  • Built the theme tokens, with a CI check that fails when the design spec drifts from the theme. Every pull request is gated on lint, type checks, unit tests, and Playwright end-to-end runs at desktop and mobile viewports.

  • Built a React Native in-app support portal from scratch across 3 mobile apps (Kraken, Kraken Pro, Krak) with tier-aware contact options, VIP escalation, and live queue visibility. Owned end to end: frontend, backend integration, and rollout.
  • Cut visual regression test runtime from 12 min to under a minute by building Playwright VRT infrastructure from scratch. Coverage tripled across the component library.
  • Built the Figma-to-code design token pipeline powering theming across multiple brands (light/dark variants). Teams went from days of manual work per brand to automated updates.
  • Built 15+ financial data tables and fixed 25+ accessibility issues: keyboard navigation, focus management, and ARIA attributes.
  • Set up Segment event tracking across web and 3 React Native apps. Used the data to measure feature adoption and retention across the platform.

  • Built 5 storefronts end to end with React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Worked directly with the CEO, product, design, and business stakeholders from requirements to deployment.

  • Managed 5 engineers across 2 time zones. Set up the sprint cadence, code review process, and CI/CD pipeline from scratch.

  • Integrated 5 storefronts with Sanity CMS and the internal design system. The content team could now manage brand-aligned pages without engineering help.
  • Got Core Web Vitals into the green on key checkout routes through code splitting, lazy loading, and edge caching. LCP under 2s.
  • Set up Google Analytics and SEO tooling from scratch for Norwegian client properties, including a major Norwegian recycling company.
  • Led WCAG 2.0 AA compliance across e-commerce storefronts and brand landing pages for 70+ European companies.
